It’s a gloomy outlook for Russia’s property market – a huge shortage of credit has created a massive slump in demand leading to an average of a 60 percent drop in property prices throughout the country.

Russian realtors and developers are starting to show signs of optimism that investors are returning to the real estate market, although analysts caution that actual sales will depend significantly on the discounts being offered.
There is already seeing signs of a revival of the real estate market on the demand side. And it’s not just the interest that’s rising — there are more deals, too. Prices have bottomed out, or very nearly so.
