Flood-proof house near Lake Balaton

50 m2 furnished house with many ancillary rooms on a beautiful hill just outside the town of Somogyvár. The rooms all have tiled floors and are heated with a new pellet heating system. There are also radiators in the garage and the ancillary rooms. The property is now overgrown but with the pond, fruit and ornamental trees it is a dream. The Heviz thermal baths are 60 km away, but we also have beautiful thermal baths in Marcali (20 km) and in the district capital Kaposvár (35 km), where you can also find the supermarkets: Aldi, Spar, Penny and Tesco and also hospitals. There are always German-speaking people at the offices in Kaposvár who can help you fill out the forms. Kaposvár also has the Obi and Praktiker hardware stores. Somogyvár is located 20 km south of Lake Balaton (just far enough away not to hear the whirlwind in summer) directly on the bus and train line from Fonyod (on the lake) to the district capital. In this area you don't need to worry about rock falls, landslides and mudslides. Wonderful sunrises and sunsets as well as magnificent morning and evening glows are almost the order of the day.
